A VEGETARIAN VISION OF SUCCESS AT THE OLD COURSE HOTEL

The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa in St Andrews is delighted to introduce an exquisite vegetarian tasting menu in the newly-refurbished Road Hole Grill.

The eight-course vegetarian tasting menu, which complements the signature tasting menu, has been created by Head Chef, Paul Hart, whose mission is to source local ingredients within a 30-mile radius of the hotel. The menu showcases local specialities including asparagus from Glamis located just north of St Andrews and spring vegetables from Cupar, located near St Andrews.

The tasting menu is paired with a selection of champagne and fine wines, hand-picked by the Maître d’Hotel, Judith Scott.

The Road Hole Grill is enjoying a glorious renaissance since it re-opened its doors in April following the refurbishment.  Sales are very strong; weekend bookings are now being taken weeks in advance, with local residents and hotel guests keen to try the new menu and experience the vamped-up surroundings. In particular, the brand new floor-to-ceiling windows are proving a great draw, with guests keen to take advantage of the inspiring views across the Old Course and the sweeping coastal vista. The new “Road Hole Table” is also in high demand, thanks to its pivotal corner position directly above the 17th hole of the world’s most famous golf course.
