Welcome to the Christmas Emporium at the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa when the award-winning resort is transformed into a sparkling Winter Wonderland with a multitude of festivities on offer, including Christmas cake decorating, Christmas dinner demonstrations and local craft shops.

A special atmosphere is guaranteed, with a wide range of festive food and drink available throughout the resort and featuring a choir performing Christmas carols.

This special event, which will take place on Sunday 1st December 11am – 4pm, is free for all to attend.

Jazz Brunch

Festive Market and Food Hall

Hall of Champions and Ballroom, 11am – 4pm. Entry is free of charge.

Enjoy unique gift opportunities in the Festive Market with local trade stalls in the Hall of Champions and the opportunity to enjoy and purchase Fife’s finest food in our Food Hall, which will see the Ballroom transformed into a delicious local market. Family fun activities including face painting and treasure hunts are happening throughout the day.

Eating and Drinking

Join us for a delicious cake and coffee in Sands Grill, a hearty pub lunch in The Jigger Inn or the launch of our Christmas Afternoon Tea (2pm – 4pm).

Warming mulled wine, spiced cider, tea and coffee will be available to purchase from our Christmas carts throughout the resort.

Santa’s Grotto

Sands Grill, 1pm – 4pm. Entry is free of charge.

Kids can visit Santa’s Grotto between 1pm and 4pm where they can make their Christmas wish and receive a gift. A small donation can be made for gifts with proceeds donated to CHAS, our nominated charity.

Cake Decorating Class

Ballroom, 12 noon – 4pm. Entry is free of charge.

Join the resort’s pastry chefs who will be delighted to give you advice on how to decorate your Christmas cake. For an altogether more quirky Christmas why not try festive cupcakes with our cupcake icing demonstrations.

How to Cook the Perfect Christmas Dinner

Ballroom, 12 noon – 4pm. Entry is free of charge.

Join our chefs throughout the afternoon to learn tips and tricks to cook the perfect Christmas dinner. Leave with the confidence to masterfully pull off the ultimate Christmas dinner that will leave your family and guests in awe of your Nigella-style talent and nerve.

Hog Roast

The Jigger Inn, 11am – 4pm. Hog Roast – £5.00 per person.

Enjoy hog roast in rolls with stuffing and apple sauce. We recommend this be washed down with a fine Jigger Ale (The Jigger’s very own speciality beer) or a warm and spicy mulled wine.
